We typically perform an Exploratory Drain and Clean when the pond owner is unfamiliar with the pond and its elements or the pond hasn’t been maintained in several years.
The initial steps are very similar to our Complete Cleanout process. The crew will begin by removing aquatic life and draining the pond. 
However before any cleaning is performed our crew begins to meticulously inspect the pond’s systems and pump.
This is a perfect time to get an idea of how the pond is doing overall. We look at fish load, plant load, its components, and offer recommendations on how often it should be cleaned.
